We are looking for a Program Manager for our Automation Team (m/f/d) (full time) to coordinate, direct and oversee the implementation of a set of related projects. Your location will be Ybbs an der Donau (AT) or Brand (AT) or Bad St. Leonhard (AT) or Zdirec (CZ) or Plana (CZ) or Murow (PL) or Alytus (LTU) or Launkalne (LVA) or Imavrere (EST) or Näpi (EST) or Gruvön (SWE) or Ala (SWE) or Honkalahti (FIN) or Varkaus (FIN) or Amsterdam (NLD) and you will be working in Wood Products Division. You will report to our Head of Automation.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the program lifecycle, from planning to closure
  • You manage the blueprint (planning and program design) and ensure its capability alignment
  • You develop and implement program governance
  • You coordinate projects, engage stakeholders and manage cross-project risks
  • You manage program towards objectives, targets and towards program stakeholder expectations
  • You identify and resolve project tasks such as dependencies, critical path, conflicts within the project team, etc.
  • You ensure that the project outputs meet the desired program outcome requirements
  • You manage the budget, resources, performance and suppliers
  • You develop and carry out program, communication and change plans
  • You pro-actively manage tasks, change in program scope, identify potential risks, and devise risk mitigation plans
  • You coach, motivate and supervise project team members and stakeholders and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • You safeguard financial objectives of the program by forecasting; preparing budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions

  • This is an information for Austria as required by law. A performance-related salary based on your qualifications, professional experience and market value. The annual monthly gross salary for this position is around € 60.000,00 All-in plus a variable component .


  • You have a university/college degree in engineering in relevant field or equivalent technical degree
  • You have former experience from running complex international projects in agile environment
  • You have experience in industry and automation related projects (robotics and motion)
  • You have experience from wood industry and further processing (is an advantage)
  • You are good influencer through formal and informal networks
  • You are an excellent MS-Office (Excel/PowerPoint) user
  • Very good English skills
  • Your mindset is proactive, result oriented teammember and you are motivated to take ownership, initiative and responsibility
  • You have administrative skills and you are well structured
  • You speak fluent English (other languages are an adavantage)
  • You like to travel (20-25% travel activity)
